Goju Ryu History: This is the only film footage of Goju Ryu Karate-Do prior to the 1950’s! There are also very few books covering Goju Ryu from the pre-war period. And most of these are text descriptions, with very few illustrations.
The clip covers conditioning exercises - Hojo or Kigu Undo. Parts of Kururunfa Kata and Tensho Kata. Then lastly a brief glimpse of a group performance of Seiunchin Kata.
